well i suggest one thing.... restore the ipod and try again....about the blue screen.. its normal its supposed to when it restarts just leave it so just restore the ipod with itunes and redo the tut and it should work! post here if still doesnt

Hello, Slus. I received a 5.5G video ipod as a gift recently, and I haven't synched it to any machine. I have multiple Macs and PCs in my home network (my preference would be on my desktop Mac). I have read the instructions posted here and elsewhere, and I am a little confused. My questions are:
*ipodwizard is PC based -- is there any equivalent for the Mac?
*If I begin this process of moving games into my iPod thru the PC, will that prevent me from ever moving music found on my Mac iTunes?
*if this limits my iPod connectivity to the PC, will this process prevent me from synching up to a PC iTunes library? I am assuming that I will be converting my iPod to essentially an external hard drive and I don't know if that will disable iTunes synchronicity.

I managed to get them on my Ipod...but when I click on them it says that they can't be played and that I have to go to my Itunes...then when I do that it automatically deletes the game...any idea how to get it to work?
Hi, Slus. I went ahead and followed the instructions, and I answered my questions:
- Mac version of iPW = alterPod, but I didn't need it
- can access Mac iTunes music even after moving games files over
- I can access Mac iTunes, so this Q is moot.

you cannot install games on a 2g nano.... the firmware is encrypted so you cannot

pls help..i tried to follow your instructions..so that you can put games in your ipod..but i had a problem..i can't do the new folder (Game_RO) in the ipod control..:/ :(
how can u not do.... u right click thne new folder and rename it to Game_RO

Hi Slus, and thank you for the reply, i understand this...but ive heard you can....So you are saying that there is no way at all to put new games on the 2g nano???...so im stuck with the only standard 4??? Is there a way to change the firmware to where you can get the games??
