    Cellphone Retarded Cisco E3000

My dad went out and bought a Cisco E3000 for our small business. It might be E300 but i cant google while posting topic on here on my cell phone. Anyway it does 5 Ghz Wireless broadcasting and 2.4 Ghz broadcasting (WiFi'z!) I disabled the 5Ghz and am using the standard WEP security. I used the "Mixed" signal broadcasting when it asks to do like Wireless-N or Wireless-G. Etc. SSID enabled.
Well the router will show up my SSID on a laptop for about 7 seconds then disapears and i cant connect. Never had a problem with my olf WRT54G lynksys.... :-( anyway anyone know whats wrong?

Sent from my HTC Evo 4G using Tapatalk Pro.

I knew someone would say something about that, I'm aware WEP is not very secure. The issue is that the router doesn't even put out a wireless signal. Only for about 7 seconds then dissapears.
