Jeah but its BF3 dude, they improved the distort-effect, some people said, its so realistic, that some people even took their remote control for their TV, and tried to switch the program.

I think it looks distinctly Battlefield- just something about it. After scrubbing through the frames one by one, if anything it looks a lot like the E3 05 Killzone 2 trailer...except...you know...actually real haha.

As for looking like CoD, at some point CoD set the graphical bar so high that all modern combat games will resemble it for at least another year or two. But Battlefield is all about the gameplay :)

The 2 sec clip (about) of the Marine getting shot is incredibly powerful. The way he falls, the way his weapon drops to the ground- combined with those graphics- is pretty haunting. Even without the proper sound or context of the situation. Add in the blood spray onto the first person camera, and that really is a bit eerie. Like that was the first time in a game I actually felt something for an AI character I should have had no emotional attachment to. Crazy stuff.
