This is my first visit to this site. I have surf this site and looks too interesting. I have got plenty of information about different topics.I am very glad to be part of such site.I love forum discussion since I can share my thoughts and able to solve my problems.Either It is health related or technical.To be part of the site was not to diffuclt as there is in other site.

Well, im starting to love being all connected....now i can pull my phone out every 5mins to see how much further i'm down the road on google maps. But just about the best thing is the weather widget....i now no longer need to look up to see that it's cloudy...talk about finger on the pulse. But i'm so glad i got the most anaemic plan ever only 100mb for HKD98....and extra 10hkd per 10mb as i've set my phone to ring notify when it hits a wi-fi hotspot, the thing is going off every 2mins. I've discovered that i will probably have cancer of the brain very soon as pretty much the whole of HK is 1 hotspot (and they're open)......every coffee shop , tick........every train station, tick.... just walking down the market i was jumping on as guest at hotels i didn't even know existed........so far i have not used 1 kb of my mobile plan, in fact i have it turned off. That's 1 thing i'm liking about this phone not sure if it's this easy on others...is that i can put setting widgets on the home screen. I have GPS, mobile plan, and wi-fi on/off widgets right there...making it 1 touch to activate/deactivate.....no unnecessary data retrieval here

Step 1. Fixing textures and models

- Copy over all of the vpks from your ../Steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead/left4dead/ folder to some temporary folder.
- Rename all the pak01_xxx.vpk and pak01_dir.vpk files to pak02_xxx.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk respectively.
- Move the renamed files to ../Steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/

Step 2. Stopping the crashes

Copied over from DigitalySane's Thread (you need to do all of this):

- Close Steam
- Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Steam"
- Locate Steam.exe
- Right Click on Steam.exe and go to properties then proceed the the compatibility tab in the window, here you should find a toggleable box next to "Run Program as an administrator" Tick it then apply then ok.
- Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2"
- Locate Left4Dead2.exe
- Right Click on Left4Dead2.exe and go to properties then proceed the the compatibility tab in the window, here you should find a toggleable box next to "Run Program as an administrator" Tick it then apply then ok.
- Launch Steam it will say something about do not run steam in computability mode and about picking one option will revert it to normal and the other will continue so pick the continue one whichever it is.
Steam will now ask you for your steam accounts Username And Password then you will enter steam as usual.
- Navigate to your windows folder (usually C:/Windows/)
- Locate the "CSC" Folder
- Try to open the folder and it should fail (if it doesn't, you have a different problem), It will come up with "You don't currently have permission to access this folder" at which time you keep pressing continue until it says you've been denied.
- Right-click the folder, go to properties.
- Go to the security tab at which point it'll say "To continue, you must be an administrative user with permission to view this object's security properties" at which point you click continue.
- Click on admin in the owner tab which will swap the owner to the administrator then click OK.
- You then click on OK once again which will bring up the security tab.
- Tick 'full control', press OK twice to get out of the properties tabs.

Step 3. Copying the maps and fixing sounds + l4d2 common infected

- Copy the following folders from ../Steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead/left4dead/ to ../Steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/ :
---- maps
---- reslists
---- sound
---- scene
(When asked if you want to merge folders select "Yes to all", when asked if you want to replace files select "No to all")

Step 4. Play

- Open up L4D2.
- If you want to play with people who followed the exact same steps, simply start a local server and once the game starts type on console "changelevel <map name>". For singleplayer just type on console "map <map name>".

While everyone else is happy as a doodlefucker, relaxing with their easy coursework I must wait until Firday. Why? Because that's when Thanksgiving break starts. Now, if it was Friday already, this would be perfectly acceptable. But lest, I must reside on campus of this obese nation, sitting in a festering puddle of my own filthy anticipation. Once the hour arrives that I am able to stop worrying about school, I shall ejaculate copious amounts of glistening joy all over the walls of my room.

Time for me to upgrade to a 1TB hdd. Newegg lists most of the drives as "bare." Picture shows the hard drive without a protective plate. But how would one go about protecting the platters, let alone the rest of the drive? Or does it come with a plate? And does anyone recommend Seagate nowadays? They have a 2 platter 1TB hdd for $90 (bare).

We did a review of the 5970, which is actually a dual 5870 GPU single card solution. All i can say about this thing is that its unbelievably fast and we even did a benchmarking of L4D2 in the review, which was actually just released today. :)

I'm relatively certain that I have a S-Video output on the back of my tower and then the 25ft would reach my big screen and the RCA will definitely work.

If I do get that cable I'ma also want a wireless mouse and keyboard to reach that far. Would this do?

I can recieve texts and I can call people, I just cant receive any.
It doesn't give me a reason and googles being no help.

Any ideas? It wasnt doing this before...
