I am also half russian, both me and my bro, from our mom's side of the family, like her last name before she got married was like something that ends in Nov or whatever like russian names, I have no idea how to spell it or say it

lol, nope. WHile a majority of the russian monarchy may have been german it still doesnt mean that russians are german.
