Alternative to post count

Facepunch gave me yet another idea.

They don't have a postcount in the thread posbit view. They have a smartness that combines your post count with a preset number and there are a lot of other factors that change it (how well your spelling is etc).


I'm thinking of doing the same.

I'm going to call it 'ZomgScore' unless you cant hink of something better.

Here is the current algorythm.

1000 + (Your post count / 4) + (something to do w/ when you registered) + what else?
Remember that you will still be able to see a users post count by going in their profile. And I will onyl add this to the FP skin.

tbh, i dont even like the facepunch forum.
i think our blak-ice skin was way better, and im using it as custom now..

Wow people a little harsh today are we lol? I think its not a bad idea tho because I have seen a lot of people spamming replies like "lol" or "cool!", and its obvious they just want a higher post count :P

Luckily we added the 'Fast Threads' section with disabled post count to care of that problem. I also added a 10 character min limit per post.

Yeah... I don't like facepunch at all. I just ripped the skin for David. I like the way Garry moderates, that's about it. He also has nice layouts, but I don't like ripping his whole forum, it makes us look like posers.
