Edit: Actually spart.

Could you find me a AM2 Mobo, X2 CPU, Memory for the AM2 mobo and a PSU.

Because I do not know much about AM2's.

All for under 500.00$ or so?

550.00$ at max.

Thats what id get. The only possible problem I see is that the mobo might be a DOA (Several people have had the problem) but that easily fixed with a quick RMA.

ALSO Here's what MCP stands for.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_and_Communications_Processor

It is a 680 series South Bridge/North Bridge chip.

Awesome, Thanks bro.

Um, Quick question.

This PSU will be able to handle all of the components? My 8800 and the CPU is what I am worried about.

Also, Does it seem like I could just wait for a Quad Core or so and save money from upgrading? Because I can wait for Quad Cores.

Would there be better CPU's and Motherboards that would be coming out within the next 4 or 5 months?

I don't see why not. After further research ppl are running single 8800s just fine in the 600w range.

I have NEVER gotten a virus from limewire. I don't use it for programs. Just MP3's and pron. xD
