Wow, I just got done installing this game, it isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Reminds me of Doom 3. The only bad thing is, where ever you turn, you get blown to hell.

F.E.A.R. Combat is the complete multiplayer component of F.E.A.R. and includes all the updates, additional official maps and additional official game modes all in one downloadable file. F.E.A.R. Combat users will be able to play against the owners of the retail version of F.E.A.R. as well as the other F.E.A.R. Combat users.

I'm really suprised it's a free game.

They're most likely releasing it free to get more people to play it. When the expansion pack comes around more people will buy it.

you still have to fill out the form to get the serial though.

i can't even get the game to work. i get to the main menu and hit the multiplayer button and the game locks solid.

I had to disable the antivirus to keep explorer from getting fucked up.
