Ok, I have a problem

For some reason, my Ethernet decided to not work by itself. It keep telling me that there is limited to no connectivity. Ignoring it don't work, restart computer don't work, uninstall/reinstall don't work. Since I can't access the server, I can't reset the server because I don't own it. So any thing else you think I can do?

reboot your router if you have that. Otherwise throw your computer out of the window and by a new one.

have u tried to repair your net connection? have u enabled the LAN and the other connections. have u made sure your drivers r updated for your modem?

I can't really reset the modem or router since I don't have access to them. The modem and etc are with the university. I can't really just go to the school servers' room, bust down the door and unplug the power then restart the entire server. So reseting them by myself is impossible. But interestingly, when I am actually in the university, my Ethernet decided to work again, therefore, I don't think the ethernet on my computer is at fault.
