Post your suggestions for our new Gmod10 server here.
to start off:
we can get rid of all the nubs and attract alot more mature players if we password the server then say something like
"[Zomg] Playground -- Password @ zomgstuff.com"

wrong, we'll probably get even mingier and noobier peeps, then we'll have to change pass
well at least we would get alot more site traffic - which is the whole point of this if im not mistaken?

Except for the FTP part.
Also, the server crashed. Someone needs to start it back up. (It would be nice if I could do this also..)

It is a dedicated server... the support isnt very good.

Shows how fucking much you know. GMOD 10 is highly unstable, and it is being patced by Garry. Show me another place that you can get web based support in less than 5 minutes? Sometimes just one..
Anyway, every Friday nigth will be password night, and no limits!

i suggest that we remove the weps like all the shotguns and stuff and just leave the blue/orange gun and the one you do the ropes and all that and maybe leave a pistol it gets annoying scrolling through all the weps

Where we rent it from is probly the best support possable they have on avarage 5 minet support tickets or you can call their phone number... What more could you ask for? Its not their servers its someone/somthing (mod myabe) causeing an error and crashing out the server.
At the time I did not know because our server was The Great Texan Republic or something all day long... long story.

So that is why my comp is always crashing... :P
As for suggestions, the content is fine right now. After all, it takes long enough to load in...

Personally I think RP has gotten old and sucks on our 10 man server. Maybe if we had a bigger server, it might be a different story.

I am pretty sure it is dedicated...
from what i know all servers are dedicated you buy them so people host them for you on hella good quality high speed so that way you don't need to worry about it lagging and having it on your computer. I have ran a dedicated server from my computer, max it held was like 16 people without lagging.
It was fun as hell though :D
we need to try different rp systems other than LightRp

Well if people would actually donate then i would. I'm not gonna pay for a 20 man server all by myself

david gameservers is a much cheaper i pay for a 20 man server and a 35 man vent for just 40$less then that i think
and i get a free clan website so i suggest that you switch to gameservers.com

Wiremod was conflicting with some of our default gmod tools (duplicator and such)
Me and ammoseller were playing on other gmod rp servers the past week and noticed that they had made some considerable changes to their LightRp scripts. I'll try experimenting with changing up some things so we can enhance our own rp server.

Found this on FP. I added it under LightRP so hopefully it should be available when server is only on LightRP mode.

umm it is cheaper
idk the exact amount but its like 35$ a month
i get half off on vent server
and with aowc slots ar like 2$ a slot
with GS its only 1.50$ for a pub
and .99$ private
so yes it is cheaper and a better deal

Not for me.
For my $20 I get the server and a free teamspeak (which I don't even use because we have another one).
I don't really need the other bonus things, I alreayd have a site, already have voice communication etc
but still I'm glad you're joining the zomg cause;)
