I dont even know where to start. I suppose by saying that this site is becoming overly retarded. Stupid threads are made by people who should be looked up at, and respected, yet the threads are either racially charged or directed specifically towards hating someone (Most of the time for no reason).

I used to like it here, really, but not so much any more. Before, there was some feeling of an actual community. People posting useful things, and talked. Like friends. Now, its full of random attention whores with deep phsycological problems who cant find anywhere else to go.

After that, every thread seems to be about hating someone, or is TOTALLY taken off topic by stupid cunts saying stupid things.

I've been sick of this shit for a while now, and what do I see now? A thread made by the top admin called "The mexicans have finally acquired a webcam"? Who the fuck likes this shit? Honestly, people will take one look shit-fest forum and go somewhere else. I strongly suggest anyone interested in this forum to look around. Look at the threads right now. there is nothing origional. Nothing people have done, rather, a compilation of random shit that can easily be found with a few google searches, accompanied by stupid kids who dont know anything and their opinions, usually racist. These people, you'll find out, don't know anything, and probobly have some type of problems in their lives, which you can only truly, pity.

I am truly disgusted with where this forum has gone and, more simply put, its admins/members. There are a lot of people I like here, which is the only reason I hesitated for so long before saying something. Katana/crude/Ali G/ a few others I have missed.

This place is not the same it was, it's no longer a place i want to be. I would have thought these people would have grown, but they have only grown more and more immature. *******fan- I've known you a long time now, and you are the apitamy of the people I have described here, and I do pity you, i hope you turn out OK, but I need to ask something. Why hate people? Why be racist? Why hate someone simply, and for no other reason, than their skin color or nationality? I can only hope that it's a phase and you grow out of it, you will find life to be very difficult if you dont - soon.

Now alot of it is just junk i hate going into the flaming section the "Geek squad" is out of place let alone flaming best buy who are just like any other store. About the only thing's posted lately in the V.I.P Section and some programs by me alot of porn shit and Valvecafe accounts that are all always in use or banned or the password has been changed...

We need more member to registar we had a good ammount of people going to the one thred why not have them go to more?

I say that to become VIP, u have to chip in a bunch of shit again, not just post a lot. That's what I had to do, as well as all the VIP's that came b4 me. This is a great site, it just needs work.

As for the racist shit, I was tired of that on day 1. I ignored it though, because ZOMG was just...awesome. We need to stop all the racist shit too, that's just not fair damnit. I think all forums end up this way. The forums I ran started great but as more people joined, there were more arguments, more noobs, more flame wars and eventually it all fell apart.

Some places thrive on this kind of chaos though (See the forums of Off Topic, GenMay, and Something Awful) but you never see the original crew posting. Heck you never even see the admins, just the team of supermods dealing with all the shit. -sigh-

My suggestions would be to setup a list of rules. Make sure you put in there to maintain good fellowship or suffer the consequences. Layout detailed rules with penalties if you break those rules. Appoint intelligent moderators to keep things under control. Threads can be edited, warnings can be given, and if necessary temp or perm bans can be setup as well.

I tell you one of the best ways to fix a lot of the bullshit is to create some kind of initiation forum. I have always seen forum threads flamed from people with < 10 posts or who registered the same day. Usually these are people who already have an account but feel like being a dick on an anonymous account. Setup the intro forum or a noob forum and force people to only be allowed to post in there for the first 100 posts or something -shrug-

I think a combination of all of this (especially the moderator team part) will lead to a more successful forum. My one suggestion about moderation though... In all forums I have been on, the best setup is anandtech where there is a single moderator account and the team gets on it to make edits/deletes/warnings. That way noone can attack a person specifically outside of the moderated threads. I have moderated boards and had people follow me into other threads giving me crap and begging me to do something about it and just troll me with multiple accts. So if you just have 1 acct named Moderator and gave the password to several people, it might be better. But then you will not know who edited what and the moderators will not get a cool 'moderator' tag next to their names so there is always a downside :o

PS i did not see the flaming section but it is probably a good idea to have a section where people just let off steam. that way the negativity will not flow in other forums but be centralized in one place. if people want to bitch about best buy or the geek squad then they can. however you should still have rules in place where people do not flame each other. i mean maybe i hate best buy and the geek squad but maybe you can come into my thread, calm me down, and explain to me why they do things they way they do them -shrug-

CCCP you used to post alot here but you've distanced yourself from the forums quite a bit. And you've yet to give me a reason why you wiped the games forum awhile back. I had both of those "zomgstuff comics" uploaded there (being stupid back then I assumed they'd be safe on zomg and didnt leave a backup on my PC). How pissed would you be if someone deleted some of your shit that took quite a long time to make, and didn't even respond to you when you asked why.
