microphone help

ive tried turning my microphone volume up 1000000 different ways and couldnt find any ways please help!

Turn on microphone boost. Also try installing latest audio drivers.

make sure your mic dosen't have a mute switch somewere on the cable

If it's not an USB microphone, you might need to set up your mic to work with your sound card.

Start>Control Panel>Sound and Audio Devices>Voice

Set Voice playing and recording to your sound card and do Test Hardware.

test your microphone out using the sound recorder program in windows. If it still doesn't work, open volume control -> options -> properties -> recording -> "make sure all of the boxes in the new window are selected" also check your wavelength, and some stuff like that in the general volume control settings.
