Well, I might as well be a Lemming and add my two cents. So far ya‘ll seem to be to be a pretty decent (read: a little geeky, allot of hilarious) group of people with some great, helpful info. Luv some of the tutorial ideas I’ve read over already, and cant wait to see how those go. Slower periods at work require any and all means necessary to ward off boredom, /e raises gun shaped fingers to mouth, pulls thumb trigger, makes exploding motions at back of head. Thank goodness’ for adult forums.

My tag? A nickname I acquired honestly via WoW for an uncanny ability to jinx raid parties, no matter the circumstance. Quit playing at the last expansion release and have gravitated back to old favorites on Steam and the 360 . When not in front of a screen, I’m up for anything outside, camping, hiking, etc, the rougher the better.

Various specs: residence located north of the 49th parallel, south of the 60th. Old enough to be legal, young enough to be carded.

Addiction? Addiction! Who said anything about addiction? /e twitch, looks nervously around, twitch. Nah, I get my daily PvP fix via DoD lately, though aim? wth is up with that, geez I hate being rusty.

Seriously though, grinding heroics/dailies 12 a day till your eyes bleed just to maintain a decently playable toon is not exactly a great example of relaxing entertainment. Delving into some of the research pertaining to MMORPGs, and psychologically problematic, obsessive usage presents some pretty heavy facts.

Welcome.

I to play WoW, But not heavy enough to become an addiction.

Nothing that really clinges me to the game other than friends.

You only have to farm heroics and dailies if you're really bad, dailies'll take maybe 30minutes, and heroics? Lol no. Heroics are for bads that didn't/can't raid because they're mentally retarded and can't pug a naxx 10. I mean I did heroics for about a month, got my gear, and have been raiding. Progression guilds are stressful, 8:30-Midnight raid times, billions of wipes on new content, yeah, I understand where you can think WoW is not relaxing, but with the stuff you're talking about, that's not even close to being hard. By the way, I don't see how Heroics help you maintain a decent WoW toon, PvP gear is better than that shit.

Not everybody decides they want to raid.

I hereby demand your gamertag for XBL. ah... what are your motives? /snicker, shall do when not at work. I see you have Mirror's Edge on your sig, that's been my latest interest on the 360, vids of Parkour/Freerunning are pretty sweet.

THat was the number one reason for loging, playing with RL friends that have had to relocate over the years.

As it did with BC, WotLK changed the game, not necessarily for the better. The demographics of a server has allot of influence on what you are able to do as far as progression. The last one I was on, a low pop: Azshara; the 'dead beat kid on welfare who sits in the back of the class and smells like pee' server. I maxed out quite a few toons, PvP, and PvE, progression raiding is a hell of allot of fun if everyone knows their shit, though those were few and far between.
Cool, another Canadian. Welcome to the party bro. Bro, I'm not a bro, but thanks for the complement.

Wait. Another Canadian chick? What's next? Barack Obama?!

:D

And Mirror's Edge is absolutely AMAZING. The Time Trials make me want to run a field of babies over with a riding lawnmower though. They are so damn frustrating.
