Just writing this to help anyone who isn't up to date, or doesn't play often enough. I'll talk about the strategies for levels, and other useful tips. Currently, the only info is regarding the No Mercy versus mode, but I may update this guide with the Blood harvest

This is written by speedtouch, do not post this anywhere else without my permission, or credit.

Survivors

Choosing which survivor doesn't make any noticeable difference (although I must admit, louis and zoey get picked on the most ).

Some nice strategies for survivors is to always stay together. Another is to always get a hunter or smoker off someone as a top priority. This is because they're completely useless dead, or pounced, or grabbed by a smoker. I don't care if you're getting mauled by a horde of zombies. The person that got pounced is probably taking more damage than you anyway.
Note: Friendly fire damage is turned off that survivor that is pounced or smoker pulled. So don't worry about damaging them.

When dealing with boomers, first, knock them back, make sure nobody is within their explosion range, and then shoot them. This is critical to your success. Also, knocking them does do damage. 5 times will cause it to explode (assuming it has no previous damage). -Thanks hasselhoff and cobalt

With witches, crown her (headshot with shotgun = instant kill) as quickly as possible, with the person with the least amount of health. Do not take your time. The longer you wait, the more time the infected team have time to respawn! If you can avoid her, go as quickly as possible, since the enemy infected can piss her off. If the crowning failed, help out the person who failed, otherwise that witch will tear them up quicker than a hunter on fire. (extra fire damage by hunters was patched by the way).

Tanks. In the newest patch, they can now hit multiple survivors in a single swing. Also, they can get through crawl spaced. So the best strategy I can think of, is getting into a somewhat wide room, and wait in separate corners. Auto shotguns are the most effective. Setting a tank on fire, and running isn't the best idea because this tends to spread the survivors out, which gives the infected team a chance to pick you guys off one by one.

I think that covers the general ideas, let's move on to the infected.

Infected

Boomer. You are typically the backbone of the team, so make everything count. Attack from above! If you die while falling on survivors, apparently it will infect them, so a wonderful strategy, is to jump down from rooftops, right in the middle of them. Coming from corners can be risky, as a survivor can hit you, if you're too close. Also, they may come back away from the corner if they see you there (which may cause you to vomit, with no hits). In some cases even, they can shoot you through walls (even the brick ones).
If you're going to do a corner pull, try to get a hunter to jump someone to take attention off you, so you come around and puke on their faces.

Smoker. Pull anyone that's further away, even further away. It won't give the survivors a chance to hit them. It's also nice to have a boomer or hunter nearby, to infect the survivor being pulled, or to bounce any survivor coming to save them.
Note: Do not jump close to a survivor being pulled, otherwise it'll jump on the survivor, and the smoker will have to wait a long time to recharge.
Also, if you want to do a silent pull, go for francis. He doesn't yell when he gets pulled, so you can be rather sneaky about it.

Hunter. Pouncing for high damage is ok if you just want to bring their health down, but try combining with a smoker or boomer for better chances. Also, if a boomer only vomited on 3 survivors, try to pounce the one that isn't infected on. The other survivors will have vomit in their screen, so it will be harder for them to see.

Witch. I know you can't play as her. If a survivor is nearby, try to get a hunter to hit the witch a couple times to piss her off. Or even a smoker to pull a survivor nearby. Do not hit her as a boomer if the survivors can see you.

No Mercy

Level 1 (City Streets)

Survivors:
2 ways to go down, doesn't really matter. Just keep going until you get to a hole in the floor. There, make sure all 4 of you go at once, and aren't smoked.
From there, proceed out the door. Here, a tank often appears. Head back inside so the tank can't incap everyone with a car. If there is no tank, keep moving. A good idea is to head inside the second building as their is a cupboard with health supplies located there. From that point though, getting to the safe room can be especially hard. A boomer can jump down at any time, and a smoker will try to pull a survivor close to the car alarm.

A nice strategy is to get in a corner (still inside the building), and then shoot the car. This will alert the horde. Generally nobody takes any damage in a corner. This way, you can safely make your way to the exit without the horde on your back (from the car at least).
One thing I noticed is that a single survivor will make a run for the safe room, while 2 other survivors are getting pounced/pulled. This is just stupid. Save the other survivors, before heading to the safe room, unless it can't be helped.

Infected:

You can have multiple attack points, but one to keep in mind is the hole in the first building. Wait until one survivor jumps down, then pull one, and have a hunter pounce another (away from the hole), if they try to save the pulled survivor. This way, they will be two survivors left incapped, and the two remaining can't retrieve them.

If you didn't succeed in the above plan, wait to attack outside the building. Try to get a boomer on top, and to drop down on them, just as they exit. From there it's rather snatch and grab. This place is a nice area for a hunter to get a 25 damage pounce though.

If they still made it, try to ambush them just outside the street (if your team spawns in time). However, if you can't make it, just go for the roof of that building. If you're a smoker, get behind the car, to pull a survivor over. As a boomer, wait on the roof and drop down when they start to make a run for it. As a hunter, waiting by the roof is the best option, and make a jump for any survivors that don't get infected.

Level 2 (Subway)

Survivors:
You can either go down the stairs, or to the right, through the vent. There is occasionally some molotov's or pipe bombs there, so it's not a bad option. If you get horded there, it's a lot harder to defend. I would head down the stairs, and into the corner. If someone gets smoked, save them as quick as possible.
From there, it's rather the same strategies (don't forget to keep moving), until you get to the area with the machine gun. I think everyone knows this, but I'll mention it anyway. Get in the corner and activate the switch.

Infected:
Attack just after they drop down from the safe room. If you get the chance, pounce one, if the other 3 survivors are already dropped.

Further on, when they reach the area with the machine gun, wait for them to go up the stairs, as a smoker, then try to pull one down. There will be some fall damage. Hopefully if you incap them, a hunter can jump another survivor that's going down the stairs. Even if you don't incap them, a hunter can jump the survivor before they make it up the stairs as well.

Level 3 (Sewer)

Survivors:
Head straight together, before the infected have time to spawn. If one of you get pulled, safe them as quick as possible, but try not to set off the boomer. If the boomer does get set off though, get to a corner with your fellow survivors, and it should end up rather painless. What you hope to find is some new weapons at the end of that hall, or at least some pills.
Anyways, you probably know to shoot the gas station, and activate the lift.
When you go up, from the lift, try to stay on the far side, and not get pulled off by a smoker. Just keep moving from there, and try to jump down the holes at the same time, so you don't get left behind.
Eventually, when you get to the ladder just outside the safe room, toss a pipe bomb up first. Then all go at once, just after it exploded. If one of you get pounced on the ladder save that survivor first, then move up again as one.
The most dangerous one there is the boomer, so try to keep another pipe bomb handy.

Infected:
Spawn on the roof just above the safe room, then jump down (or pull if you're a smoker) when they exit. Have the boomer go first.
Another ambush point is the spot to the left of the safe room, a boomer jumping from there is a nice area.

The next ambush point should be after they get off the lift. Have a hunter jump one, to get attention off a smoker, who pulls another one off. The boomer should only have to wait just inside the room, that's to the left of the lift. If it all fails, try to get the smoker to pull a survivor, before they drop to the hole.

After that, a nice ambush room, is the large warehouse. You can drop down as a boomer, or snag a survivor as a smoker nicely.

Also, before they enter the sewer, once again, try to snag a survivor with your smoker, after 2-3 have dropped down, and get a hunter to jump the second.
If they make it to the ladder just before the safe room, just wait outside it, and avoid any molotovs they might throw up.

Level 4 (Hospital)

Survivors:
Head right to the safe room, and straight to the stairs. There is often a group of infected waiting on the hall to the right, so save any other survivors that happen to get caught. Beware the boomer as usual.

When you call the elevator, just get to the corner near the ammo pile, you're rather unlikely to lose from there.

You should generally be running through this level. After the elevator, watch out for being pulled off the edge by a smoker.

Infected:
Ambush outside the safe room by the hallway to the right. Keep the boomer in front. if they push the boomer back, jump em, to give the boomer time to recover and puke over them.

Another strategy, is to destroy the railing after the stairs, and then later on, have a smoker pull a survivor down, so the have to walk around again.
This gives a opportunity for a hunter to jump the lone survivor.

Once the survivors get to the elevator, there isn't a whole lot you can do. You could always ambush them when they get up to go into the elevator though.

A nice ambush point after the elevator is where the smoker can pull the survivors off the edge. Generally, try to get a hunter pounce, or boomer on them before you try to pull though.

Level 5 (Hospital Roof: Finale)
Survivors:
Just move on, and be wary of a boomer lurking around. Even if you do get puked on, you can just get in a corner, before the horde gets you.
Once you get to the ladder, before the rooftops, you can use a molotov or two, and try to get the infected on top, and/or climb up all at once.
Once on top, you'll either be snagged, or pounced. If you get the chance, shoot/knock off any hunters around, and especially the smoker. The fall damage is rather dangerous.

If you survive the rooftop ambush, you're halfway there
Make your way to your building, and call the choppa. Make sure you know where the molotv's and pipebombs are at. Then, on the roof top, get to the corner of the building with the mounted machine gun. From there, you can keep the horde off you (just make sure to kill the ones that come from behind, and on top).
When the tank comes, spread out (but not too much), and keep the tank moving.
Then repeat the process, for the second tank, and when you kill him, wait by the choppa landing pad. Then, try to keep a pipe bomb handy and toss it out, before the horde can get to you. By then, you can get the choppa.

Infected:
Everyone except the boomer spawn on the roof. The boomer should spawn in the hallway after the stairs, and try to infect the survivors, to deal some damage. Then you'll spawn as a hunter. From there you can wait at the top of the roof.
When the survivors come, snag one, and pull it off the roof. Then the hunters should jump the remaining survivors as quick as possible. If you get knocked off one, try to jump back on as quickly as possible.

Now if they survive, it's gonna be harder. Facing the helicopter pad, to the right of the mounted machine gun building, is a nice place for a smoker to pull a survivor down.
As a tank, you should try to hit a survivor off the building.
When the tank is around, the hunter and smoker should be grabbing and pouncing any lone survivors, or especially any survivors that are helping another survivor up.

That's about it! I may upload some pictures later, to help visualize things. If you think I missed out on anything, feel free to post it, and I'll add it in.

A note for knocking boomers away, you can only do it a certain amount of times before they just explode.

I think it's 5 times.
