How does e-sata configure to the case these days. Do the new cases come with an external socket, or do you have to run the cable out from the back?

oh that's cool. how much faster is that though? how fast is usb 2.0 compared to e-sata (isnt it the same as sata, which is 3.0gbp/s?)

To bad e-sata isn't standard yet.

My old mobo had an eSATA port. Most cases come with them on the front now as well.

Max Speeds from OCZ are:

Read: 90MB/s
Write: 30MB/s

Hopefully someone will review it and get us more concrete numbers.
