cant play Company of heroes on LAN

i cant play company of heroes on LAN. It runs fine on single player, but when i join the LAN, my name takes forever to show up, and then they start the game. i am still at the start screen, and i never get in.
any ideas?
my firewall is off, and its granted COH acess.

Try port forwarding CoH's ports to your router and any firewall.
