This is the newest development after the release of all the other motherboard manufacturers' X58 boards.

Ugly board is ugly. The Asus P6-T is the best looking I've seen yet.

Its actually really clean and simple and i like that, but i willa dmit the ASUS does look pretty good. Not that it really means how well it will perform.

I actually prefer the look of the EVGA. The single large heatsink as opposed to the 2 copper 1's connected via heatpipe. Also the chipset cooler of the EVGA looks better than the ASUS, which looks like it came from a Kinder egg

It's supposed to be about the same performance as the rampage series.

6 DDR3 slots? Damn, what's the max RAM that it can support, 12?

The reason for 6 is because Nehalem is moving away from Dual channel to Triple Channel ram kits.

Too bad the core i7 won't get released for another month, so you can't actually do anything with this board at the moment, might as well wait until the processors come out, the board might get cheaper too.

That makes no sense, dual channel didn't give an increase in performance, that bottleneck is purely theoretical, so why go triple channel? I don't get Intel... Still the i7 is gonna pwn, I'll get one for my next upgrade
