Skype... Myself while i like the idea of free calls to other people, I realise that the way the go about doing this is the same as stealing funds from the telco's. Not such a bad thing until you realise that if the telco's get less funds we get less net upgrades such as cable lines and whatnot. Yes they do get funding from governments and whatnot, but they are less likely to spend their own money on this kind of stuff when they are making less profit. Yes they are making less profit. they make on average about 10% of what they would normally from a household that uses voip. Its going to mean either a revolution on how telco's handle business or them charging more for internet and cabling lines (neither a good thing).
