I'm kinda of tiered about all this stuff were people getting banned and me being to lazy to go find why. - Can we have a Banned page back, Or at least a thread?

There is no need.

If someone is banned that is between the person banned and the person who banned them.

Not a public viewing so someone can make a stupid ass thread about it.

Example, You wake up to see that s_8Ball is banned you make a thread with the title "Why was 8ball banned"

You say "oloolloolloollololool funneh olololoolol retarted threadplolloolloololollool"

End of story you will forget about it the next morning.

I'm working a log script that will displays all new events.

It will display bans, new registrations, mod actions.

Going to start today, I've just been brainstorming.

basically this is going to be the database setup
table zomglog

int logid (unique tracking ID)

string username (username that was affected)

string actiontype (ban, mod action, new user)

int UNIX timestamp (date)

string adminname (admin/mod who did action)


there will be a page with the last X actions. you will be able to list only certain actions (new bans, or new people etc)

I've got the majority of the script written for adding new registrations to the log.

And I'm obviously going to redo the style/layout once I have the code...

Also ignore the navbar, I have an old copy of the forum running on my PC.

Update: okay I'm going to bed, but I've got quite a bit of different functions now. It adds new registrations (and also includes refferals), it adds bans and unbans so far (sorry Kensei, :wink:). Ignore some of the text or the funky usernames, I'm just testing different things out, but the important part is that they're registering! :4chan:. here's the update

Ah, I've run into a halt. For the past 2 hours I've been trying to get the code working for a closed/opened thread.

Edit: I got it!

So far the log will add
new registrations
locking / unlocking thread
ban/unban user
sticky/unsticky thread
move thread

make a feature for a popular thread, or threads that u put in the banner the scrolls on top, such as

"how to eat a cow" thread has gained 1,000 views
and then for the picture have a gold star or sumthing
