Does the new post count include like VIP even though im not in it beacuse it says 1 new post and there wont be a new post.

He means if there's a new post while he's not on and this post is made in VIP, will it be displayed in the New Posts list on the top right

I don't think it would count VIP. It might just mean someone made a post in the last 10 minutes even if you saw it.
